Failing miserably at creating something resembling a comic strip is not all bad.
It’s as though you set out to build a doghouse, and ended up inventing the salad shooter!
Serendipity!!
(Maybe I could’ve used a better example, but as sandboil said, she doesn’t need compliments. Confinement, perhaps, but not compliments.)
ushindi, our great and vengeful god baphomet commands you and all other comic commenters to be ”nice”
no more comments questioning or ridiculing or making sarcastic fun of any comic ever
Well, Teresa, you have certainly created an extremely faithful group of fans - and the dotyman doesn’t like it here, so you’re obviously doing SOMETHING right.
(D@rn it, nighthawks, I TRIED to be nice, I really did - forgive me.)
EDIT: And if you insist on “fail”, Teresa, let me say you did NOT fail “miserably”, you failed pretty d@mned well!
i think that that illustration of the woman they use for the cover picture looks creepy. the one with the long, strait, dark hair that stares right at you. is it supposed to? or was it just coincidental? would anyone happen to know?
flower46: are you referring to the girl under the word HOME above? If so, you have just met Grace the Face. I know Teresa gives the history of Grace on her blog somewhere, but I don’t know where. Who knows?
So you got your comics mixed up? LOL - I loved it, Ray C, and I see you didn’t get any response - of course, I don’t imagine you expected one. The cad even made openminded sob uncontrollably on the Elderberries, poor thing.

Throw no pity party for Teresa. She’s a survivor and a thriver!
Sisyphos almost 15 years ago
Ohhh! Pity party! Do we all get party favors and cake and ice cream and pop and balloons and funny hats and firecrackers and stuff?
Steve Bartholomew almost 15 years ago
Teresa is pitiless.

If this is a PPP (potluck pity party), I’ll make some potato salad.
Edcole1961 almost 15 years ago
Sounds more like a fishing for compliments party, so I’ll bite. May your strip run as long as “Nancy,” and never remind anyone of it.
sandboil almost 15 years ago
Keep your compliments, Edcole1961. Teresa doesn’t need ‘em. She knows we love her.

… some fans more than others (like me).

Maybe Teresa could get a shot at hosting the Tonight Show.
whaletail almost 15 years ago
Being that Teresa is nighthawks honey-bunny, I thought he’d be having his own Tonight Show with her every night.

Coming soon the new strip Froglegs in a French restaurant near vous
ejcapulet almost 15 years ago
Okay, so it’s a non-comic strip. Who cares as long as it’s fun?

I have a bottle of “Gentleman Jack” I was saving for the Hold-Em tournament next month, but I can buy another. I’ll throw that into the potluck.

I have a long list of strips that I think failed miserably and this ain’t one of them.
Does anybody like cheese? I can bring a cheese log.

If that’s what it is, I want more of your misery and much more of your failure. And love the blue tutu.

To paraphrase Thomas Edison, she hasn’t failed she’s just come up with hundreds of ways NOT to draw a comic strip.

flower46—Who do you mean by “they”? This is Teresa’s comic strip. GoComics doesn’t write or draw Frog Applause.

HughBHayve–I liked your Mr. T reference!
My first name is Mr; my middle name is the period, and my last name is T. And don’t forgot it, suckas!

It’s not GoComics’ comic strip. It’s not even Teresa’s comic strip. It’s THE PEOPLE’S comic strip. (The weird people, that is.)
Ushindi: I broke ranks today also, on Dinette. Lord, forgive me, because I vowed never to do that. But I didn’t swear on my uncle’s grave or anything.

The blog: Looking at his pants leg, I would say that “The Iceman Cometh.” (And has a rather unusual anatomy.)

Ushindi: I do sort of regret it now. It was kind of childish. But satisfying.
