    When I lived in New Mexico, the Air Force base golf course had a real problem with helmet shrikes. They would constantly attack golfers and if a golfer hit a shrike, he could face a stiff fine or jail because they are protected.

    Chipmunk: a common name for any small squirrel-like rodent species of the genus Tamias in the family Sciuridae

    Still, they are very cute.

    Love Richard Scarry - he’s been part of my life since I was 3. And his characters never eat toasters.     Notice Richard Scarry’s Car and Truck Book (1951) on the shelf. Notice that I was a typical Frog Blog reader from an early age.

    I think the reason Mr. bear did not eat the toaster is that he is allergic to aluminum!
