Couple this with the alien writing and the fact that it’s a play on “Take me to your leader,” I believe what we’re seeing here is that the large, swirly thing is a highly advanced cheesy breadstick from another planet, commanding an earthling to facilitate its contact with our Earth breadsticks.
I hope they’re not angry about us using them as a food source.

OK, I give up. What IS that script? Something ancient, I suppose… Vinca, Proto-Elamit, Tuareg… No, none of the above. Looks like enough distinct symbols to be a syllabary though? This comic often strains my capacity for identifying trivia.
