    Another lemming fun fact, to spread the truth better: lemmings don’t hibernate in the winter, continuing to be active and out foraging. They live in burrows made up of large tunnel systems under the snow, which have rest areas, toilet areas, and nesting rooms. And, like many rodents, they are prodigious breeders.
