Shouldn’t it be “They’ll not get done quicker even if you stare”??
I don’t know why Jon’s complaining, at least he aint sleeping for a change!
He might need some help with that.

Hubby does the exact same thing when I bake cookies. He also pokes them fresh out of the oven right after I say “Don’t touch ‘em, they’re hot,” and dances around while I’m trying to transfer them from oven to cooling rack.
At least this way the cookies won’t burn.
