Funny you said that. I remember 30 years ago when I had my first apartment, and I was trying to toughen up my cat because we had a small mouse problem. I bought a domestic mouse for 1 dollar at a pet store and set it loose in the apt. The cat just watched it run around, fairly disinterested. So I decided to smear canned cat food on the mouse to make it more interesting. My stupid cat followed the mouse around the apartment, licking the cat food off the mouse! sigh. I took it back and got my dollar back. lol
Domestic cats are like that, lol. My cat Mua caught a mouse in my apartment and played with it until it died, a wet mouse, but still intact. Yuck.I gave Mua plenty of praise, but he wouldn’t let me near that mouse- he hissed at me! Silly cat.
