Butter expires???

I think Jon’s cat is going to expire before the butter……..

I thought those were blood bags in the first panel! lol

Slow down. It’s the sell by date. You got at least a week.

Toast house.

Butter freezes very well and stays just fine for months. Then it can be thawed as needed. I keep several 1/4 pound or 1 pound sticks frozen and if I’ve got 1 pound sticks on hand, I’ll cut off a portion for what I need and just thaw it.

How does butter get close to it’s expiration date with you in the house Garfield?

How does anything get near the expiration date with Garf around.

Never thought of that! I try to make sure it never expires, waste is a bummer!!!

I think the last 2 panels would make a great Garfield minus Garfield.

Most expiration dates/ use by dates/sell by dates are a ploy by the system to force the consumer to buy more stuff.

Garfield, make sure every slice is evenly toasted. You don’t want to get Mad Toast Disease!!!

I always get a fright when the toast pops up.

I practically live on toast. I just enjoy it so much.

… I remember a comic from before saying Garfield ACTUALLY used the entire block of butter for ONE piece of toast …. so its just an excuse to eat all the extra toast or bread whatever it turns out to be …
