I am sure that there are some 90+ year old couples around who still care about driving, vacations and appliances The reality is many are now eithher dead or languishing at home with 24/7 nursing or in nursing homes. I’’d like to know if your folks are like Nina and Skeezix.
Is it just me, or is this salseman like Frank Nelson’s obnoxious salesman from “The Jack Benny Show?” His usual greeting was, “Yeeeeees?” and he was always rude to Jack & Co.
2436rge, My mom’s side tend to live to a great age and are still very active. Though they do have sense enough to stop driving they still live to go places. My mom at 88 just got a new washer…without all this flap.

I wonder how he’ll react if they threaten to go to another store, even if it means out of town.
