Just how long can these folks in GA live? Are they all immortal?

I thought Skeezix an’ Nina were headed to vacation? Now he’s out back whacking down his grass with a golf club??? Shouldn’t the Sunday strip follow the storyline a little better? ‘Just sayin’…

Walt’s wife Phyllis died. Other notable comic strip deaths.

That is not a golf club, that is a grass cutter, or scythe.

That’s not a scythe – a scythe has a curved blade. The folks that make ’em and sell ’em call ’em “grass whips”. or sometimes they call ’em “weed whips.” They were fairly popular before weed wackers were invented.

No, it is a yard tool. I used it often to clean under electric fences before string trimmers came along.
