    Morning, Vagabonds!

ANNIE’S BACK!! THANK YOU GOCOMICS!! HOORAY!! YAY! WHOOHOO!!

It looks like GoComics has heard us at last! They are rerunning Annie beginning when Allen Kupperberg took over the artwork. If you click my link, it will take you to Annie, January 24, 2012 which is a rerun from April 24, 2001. They still don’t have Annie listed in the Comics A-Z Navigation, but it’s a start!

    Here’s the link to Annie 2012 .

    Again – THANK YOU, GOCOMICS!

I’d like to see what is going on at the diner these days and also see some of the grand and great grandchildren. And what about Grandpa who must be older than 100?

Leave it at that. You get to tell him off, and leave with good feelings. You got your cake and ate it too.

My advice for Jim is once Skeezix turns 100 then time freeze everyone. Chic Young did that to Blondie. Once Cookie and Alexander reached their teen years Young stopped aging them. 50 years later Blondie is still read and popular, If Jim is still at the helm in 2021 he keep the GA gang at their ages or start oven and youthen everyone.

I haven’t read “Blondie” in years, but didn’t it change with the times? The characters may have stopped aging, but the world around them moved on, I think.

Isn’t Blondie herself a business woman rather than a Flapper? I recall something about that. Although I doubt that Dagwood ever made the jump to salads and tofu.
