Oh the drama! Good grief Clovia, the snake is probably more afraid of you! Hero Slim will save you! BTW, where’s the rest of the car? At the angle shown (note the hood), it’s missing the grill and left side wheel! Sloppy art work Jim!
I went to an auto body shop in Peoria,IL back in 1978 and one of the guys there had a pet snake on the premises. Anyway, the snake wandered off and the guy couldn’t find it . Somehow I thought maybe the snake is along a wall or something and sure enough that’s where it was found. True story.
Jim, I have a favor to ask. Many of us who are long time fans of GA are bored out of our socks with the endless strips featuring Clovia and Slim. Personally, I can no longer handle these dumb and dumber strips featuring them and intend to stop my daily visits. However, I would assume, when we leave these message you have access to our e-mail addresses. As such, if, as or when you decide to bring back Uncle Walt and Skeezix, on a regular basis, please be so kind as to send an e-mail saying this. I will post this more than once in the hope, at some point, it may reach you. Many thanks! (PS: Yes, I am the guy who suggests you put Uncle Walt in the Old Cartoon Character Retirement Home and allow GA folks to visit him. That way, like Moon Mullins, Maggie and Jiggs and so many others, Uncle Walt can be part of the GA strip for years to come.)
My cousin was having some work done in his garage and the lock from the garage to the house was broken. Since no one was going to be home, they were concerned about unauthorized entry into the house. His wife hung a sign on the door: Honey, if you get home first be careful. John’s snake has escaped again.

Clovia, just get a stick to pick it up and throw it outside with. It’s not like you to be such a wienie.
