Apparently, for Rufus, the horn blew until midnight.Joel has spent many years training his protege; hoping that someday Rufus would be ready to take over the business.I’m sure this is just a temporary setback.
Funny that if Jack Benny disliked “The Horn Blows at Midnight” so much, that he did a radio episode of it in 1949 on an program called Ford Theater and then did a live TV segment on a program called Omnibus in 1953. He must have liked the money.
