FUNKY W. The Bull & Linda story…denouement? This story has been very sad, but raised an important issue and was extremely well done/presented. As a graphic novel, it could be award-winning. To Tom Batiuk, kudos where kudos are due.
MARY WORTH: Oh..oh. Could this be a problem? Hmmm. What would I do if I were Estelle? Her choices may be 1) Grin and bear it, but pull back from spending time with Wilbur, or 2) Be open and honest and tell Wilbur that she hates boxing and would prefer not to watch it, or, 3) Learn more about the sport and see if she might be able to change her mind about watching it, or 4) Expand # 2, and see if there’s another sport that they might enjoy watching together, and suggest to Wilbur that they mutually agree that he (W.) will watch boxing on his own time.
