Rob: You're a spiritual advisor, all of a sudden? Bucky: I'm a spiritual genius. I may or may not choose to advice others. Rob: Spiritual genius? Yesterday you asked me what "spiritual" meant. Bucky: And now I realize how bad your answer was. Rob: What the... Where am I Satchel? Bucky: You're here, Robert. Listen to my voice and find peace. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm pondering the infinite. Rob: Why don't you ponder cleaning your litter box?

At first I thought maybe Bucky suffered a head injury, when he jumped from the window. But no, he’s fine.
tudzax2 about 13 years ago
He still has his one spikey tooth showing. Yeah, he’s fine.

Obviously Satchel agrees with Rob in the last panel…But the first panel is pure Bucky Katt….Yeah ODDBALL, he’s back to his old self…why I find that comforting I really don’t know…

Wish I could train my cat to clean his own litter box!

Haven’t read this strip for weeks. I see it is still a pretentious bore.

If Bucky is a spiritual advisor, then why isn’t he sitting way up on a mountain top where people can climb up to him?

It’s the afternoon now, so the grammar police are allowed outside now – I was doing some research on grammar rules recently, and apparently the rule “Never end your sentence with a preposition” is actually not correct. You shouldn’t end your sentence with a dangling modifier (that is, an unnecessary preposition, e.g., “Where’s the library at?”), but it actually isn’t necessary to go through a complicated restructuring of a sentence to avoid ending it with a preposition. So the sentence, “That’s what Bucky has Rob for,” is completely fine. I only learned this recently (after decades of restructuring my sentences), so I’m still fascinated with this. Hope you don’t mind me sharing the news (I promise next time I post it will actually be interesting and about the strip)….

Bucky didn’t misuse any words today. Not saying he is actually a spiritual genius, but his diction is improving at least!
