considering this comic was probably written six months ago, it’s weird how things cosmically line up … a harmless sight gag now becomes unintended social commentary

It’s a nitpick, I know, but whomever did the colorization should be fired. Panel 2 has light from a wall sconce, but that light would have obliterated the shadow from the hoodie coming from the other angle. Shadows and lighting may not usually be a big deal — but when it’s the entire point of the strip, a bit more attention ought to be paid….

oh, this is politics, alright. he’s drawn these of late. there are plenty of fillers drawn long ago, but each of these big-name guys will draw for current moments when they feel like saying those ‘now’ things. and this is what darby’s the best at. everyone does it some of the time, including jim davis and scott adams, thinkin’ about it seriously at 11 pm.

I appreciate that these creative minds do pay attention to current events and comment in their own ingenious ways—it’s not serendipity, but conscience in play here, I think.

What a cute kid! He looks like a mini-Rob! However, please tell me – what is that a picture of in the circle on the front of his hoodie? My friend & I just can’t figure it out.

Once the guy got out of his car and followed the kid, he lost the claim of self defense, and if he didn’t stop when the kid asked him too, according to people who support the FL. law the kid has the right to defend himself, up to and including, killing the guy……

I simply love the look pf panic on Bucky’s face in panel 3. There’s not much that gets to the ol’ buckster but when it does he comes totally unglued.

C’mon wdave, Darby isn’t an electrical engineer, he’s just a liberal cartoonist. I guess Rob qualifies to be a Congressman from Illinois, now.

on march 24th strip,rob is standing next to the door nob which is at waist level. now, in todays strip, it is chest level. i never saw holes and patched jeans before. i vote nephew.

OMG! THIS STRIP MADE ME LITERALLY LAUGH UNTIL THE TEARS CAME! Calm down folks! The joke is that Bucky things the Grim Reaper is coming for him because of the way Rob’s shadow is portrayed on the wall. Most people go to ball games wearing hoodies! (Thanks Geraldo Rivera for your ABUSRD COMMENTS ON HOODIES!) Anyway, Bucky’s expression in the third panel is hilarious, and THAT AND THAT ALONE is the gist of the comic strip, IMHO, anyway!

Wait a minute, are you saying I can’t get out of my car, walk after someone for a while, running…and then confront them? And in the scuffle kill him, because I’m the only one with a gun and I took the time to get close to him?? What is this country coming to, when you can’t kill somebody if you want… And the NRA, the most seditious organization ever, (They say the most important reason to have major high powered firearms is to confront the American government.) promotes conspiracy theories that are as crazy as they are un-American…I believe everyone should have a gun. Many of them if you like. But anybody who doesn’t understand and fear what the NRA is knowingly trying to do to this country, simply to increase their dues, and promote their anti government agenda, is not trying to defend our country from our real internal enemies, like the seditious NRA. God bless America and guns…God condemn the NRA….sayin’…
