Panel 4:Satch looks a little guilty, but when did guilt ever prevent a dog from eating something disgusting?

I don’t think he feels guilty…I think he feels sick…

To me, Satch looks like he needs to get to the bathroom quickly…and throw up.

I think he is embarrassed he let it slip that he has eaten asphalt before.

On the road again, can’t wait to get on the road again….

Panel 3 he has asphalt in his left hand . Panel 4, he has that hand to his mouth.(Okay, paw; for all those anal retentives out there.)

Susan sweetie, I did. this time around I’m using my i-Pad so it was easy to rotate, enlarge and do a screen shot. I’m afraid it’s gonna be grainy. When I get back to my laptop I’ll attempt plan B. BTW is the Tiki a cyber place you and the others “meet” ????

Asphalt…reminds me of a joke.

I can relate. I got smooth-talked into eating some tar that was bubbling up along the edge of the road one hot summer day. I was also led to believe that was where licorice came from…….was sick the rest of the day…….

Reminds me of when I was growing up. Someone told us the way to get your teeth pretty and white was to chew tar. Needless to say, we tried it. Didn’t work. I feel for you Satch.

I think he’s shoving the last bit of asphalt in, after all it is the best he’s ever eaten!

I’m just glad he has a concept of disgusting.

I think the joke here may be that he ate the rest of it even after learning it was inedible asphalt.

Hey, one good chew deserves another. Even if its asphalt.

Pixels is pixels…a picture only has so many dots in it…actual photographs have millions, digital cameras are only starting to catch up.

That panel was uploaded at maybe 150 pixels wide…. so it WILL be grainy if you enlarge it so much the dots show.

I enlarged it a little to make it look better… but I can’t add dots.

By the same token, if you shrink it to display at 50 pixels wide, like an avatar, it will lose some of the dots it has now.That’s why you always save an original, and give a new name to the one you reduce.

When I say “it was uploaded” I mean originally, by GoComics.
