I wouldn't expect you to understand it. Bucky: Give it or I'll take it and punch you so hard you'll see your forefathers. Satchel: Is that supposed to be a threat? I wish for once Satch would show some gumption and at least growl at Bucky -after all, he is bigger and dogs do chase cats. But I know it would change the balance of power of the strip.

Oh he does, once Bucky goes to far. It just takes alot to get Satch mad enough to take advantage of the size difference.

satch should stuff bucky into a cat carrier, tie a rope to the handle and toss the crate out the window and let him hang there for a few hours

We’ve seen Satchel get angry before … he just likes to look at the bright side of everything as Bucky’s remarks go way over Satchel’s head! That shuts Bucky down, and he usually walks off. :)

@SusanElaineBucky’s remarks don’t often go over Satchel’s head. Usually, Bucky says things so vaguely that anyone might interpret them in a different way. Usually, we understand it the way Satchel does after he says it; which gives us the punch line. WE are the ones with limited insight, not Satchel (Darby Conley).

Sometimes Satchel talks about his shar pei heritage and then other times it’s the toller side that gets his attention. What a mixed-up pedigree, Nova Scotian and Chinese.
