BTW, this just in: properly conducted research has recently confirmed that dogs can catch their humans’ yawns. Doesn’t go the other way, however.

I honestly cannot believe your nerve. First off there is such a thing as “vacation” for people. Even for these artists. Secondly drawing is an extremely difficult task and to come up with continuous comics to carry a storyline along is even more difficult. I am an artist as well and it is not always easy to meet the demand of a tight schedule when it comes to any form of art. For all you know he could be having some sort of medical issues that are keeping him from being able to draw. Perhaps you should learn to keep your mouth shut before spewing your ignorance all over everybody else’s fun. You need to step off your high horse. He’s looking pretty ragged. Just enjoy the comics for the hilarity they instill… and if you don’t think they’re funny then don’t read them.

Try for a little patience and understanding. All sorts of things could be happening in Mr. Conley’s life. Anything can happen — family emergency, illness, accident, natural disaster. We are not given this information. However, we are fortunate that there is a wealth of cartoons that this site can draw upon to keep us greedy fans laughing day-in and day out.
