The Buckster is both clairvoyant and a genius. It looks like the Beige Behemoth’s days are numbered, finally.

In the case of a hermit, one sort of has to wonder how anyone knows he’s dead. They probably don’t pay cash either.

Dataweaver, you could if you wanted to – there are four suits (Cups, Wands, Swords, and Pentacles), each suit has it’s ‘Royalty’ (Page, Knight, Queen, King), and 1 to 10 ‘minor arcana’. Drop the pages, or use them as Jokers, and drop the Major Arcana (like the Hermit and Death – which stands for change, not death) and you’ve got a poker deck!

Of course, this is coming from someone who used to use the punch cards for Fortran programs as a deck of cards while waiting for output, so…

The “Death” card rarely means actual death. At least, not the way I’ve seen it used in TV & movies. It’s not the worst card you can get.

@dataweaver You can also use a standard deck to read the tarot. You just wouldn’t have the major arcana.
