As far as I’m concerned, porridge should all be renamed ‘horridge.’ Bland, mushy, colourless … it’s not good stuff.
Ahhh, but transformed with butter, brown sugar, cinnamon and a dash or two of cream horridge becomes yummidge.
Maple syrup and a dash of salt don’t hurt either.
I have seen what my dogs are willing to eat, they ain’t fixing my dinner, no way no how!
