Is that Daddy or “Sugar Daddy” there?

Still have no idea of how Boo is regarded. Do the other girls like her? Fear her? Hate her?

I thought it was always Wednesday in this particular story.

Mom is standing like two feet away all arms folded and tapping her foot and staring daggers into Boo’s back…how does Leisl figure that Boo is being tough on her?

Awww! Addy is daddy’s little girl. It sure looks like Ravenswing might just have it right about the sugar daddy thing. Looks like Boo might have a big future at the Bada Bing.

With a hand that size, Leisl could play first base without a mitt. As a once-divorced dad, I find no humor in this story line – except for the commentary here, of course.

In all reality , at the bottom of P 1 it looks like the Kool Aid Kid has grown up and is chatting with some fans .

Boo is a budding manipulator. Notice the leg raise while hugging dear ol’ Dad in P1 while Mommy Dearest observes in the judgmental pose. Perhaps she’s Boo because like most first borns, she was a surprise. Snarky retort to Mom, mean streak on the mound and rebel may care attitude. Yep, I like her.

To paraphrase the old “70’s” era commercial for ‘the party ring’ (the one that changed colors based on the wearer’s ‘mood’) and apply it to Boo …….. “she sure am bad!”

“I know it’s not Wednesday, but it’s okay if we hug, right?” That line works on so many levels, from comic strips to soft-core porn. I think we could start a line of Gil Thorp Hallmark cards with some of the choice quotes from this strip.

Boo’s mom longs for the strong arms of a man. I predict a visit to the AD’s office in the near future for a closed door meeting.

I’m getting creaped out. In P-1 the hug is mid back. P-2 it’s dropping down to the waist. If there was a panel 4, the strip would move to the Personal Column.

Question. In P-3 is Liesl making two separate comments or just addressing what Boo said to Mom?

What the hell is with the incest in P1? Arm around neck, leg raised, mouth to mouth? It’s like a stereotypical makeout pose from the movies. And speaking of making out, let’s see what Mopped Up Thorp is making out of this.
