G’day Jason, JFri, usfellers, ottod, and Meggsiefan!

Now I see that he doesn’t look so much like a bear, especially in the shadow. And you two boys got lucky! I wonder if Canehard is missing them yet?

Vegan diets can be very healthy Darkeforce depending on what you eat.

    Howdy, all!

A rare beast indeed: a vegan with a sense of humor about his diet!

Do Aussies even have bears? Koala don’t count. Veggie, but I hear they can get mean.

G’day Jason, DryCula, JFri, Ottod, Meggsiefan, Frank and all Meggsie’s mates.

Jason has told us to wait until Wednesday to find out what all this is about - CAN’T WAIT. Until then though, that critter looks mighty benevolent and makes me wonder why I have always felt that mysterious/legendary/mythical Aussie bush critters were to be feared. Is something about to be revealed to shed new light on a part of our folklore? CAN’T WAIT!

Who is reminded of a number that went: “Hey, Purple People Eater, what’s your line?” “Eatin’ purple people and it sure is fine!” The song seemed to be about a most frightening creature until we heard those words reassuring us we were all safe because whatever colour we were, purple we ain’t.

    Here it is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rx47qrH1GRs&feature=fvst

Not the original version by Sheb Woolley but ok just the same. The rather poor quality picture that comes along during the play is off the cover of the original record. This has the distinction of being the very first record cover (78 rpm version) that bore a picture relevant to the actual record; as such it is highly collectible. The record itself is also a great addition to an early Rock collection of course.

Original record on the turntable here, about to spin, man, it’s the most, like, groovin’.

DryCula: Yeah, like dig man, born to the corn, live to the jive.

What a fab time that was! Around here it still is, soda fizz.

I’m slowly becoming a vegan (no joke) and seriously doubt that, Dorkforce. I need all the soy I can get!

Josh: Just between you and me and Meggsie, so am I, No principle involved, just happening, that’s all.

Really, there have been vegans and carnivores pedalling their be-all-and-end-all canoes on GoComics for yonks. You, me and them are still here. Looks like life allows for a wide range of preferences.

Leaves just one thought: Eat, drink and be merry for tomorrow we diet.

Great remark, how on Earth would he know. Ugh oh, so plump and juicy ends at about age 8 and stringy takes over. Till what age? What happens after that, maybe we would be given a Specials label at the Bunyip supermarket

more than soy out there tvp can taste sort of bacony gluten’s good - wheat gluten has a real meaty taste, seen it as fake beef, and, as the package said, sHam quorm’s a good chicken substitute visit the internationals markets and healthier food stores and as the weird guy says - if it looks good, eat it (well, even if it don’t - hold yer nose and down it goes)
