    Howdy, all!

“What’s a Yowi?” About 100 kilos, from the look of him. Your turn, usfellers.

Going to buy into a bit of a blue (argument) here. Yowis and Bunyips differ from Yeti and Bigfoot et al in one important respect. From time to time sightings and tracks of the two aforementioned and their ilk are reported but the Aussie monsters are pure myth. For sure, we hear them calling out during the night as they move through the bush and they scare the wits out of us but there are never any tracks.

The good folk of the little outback township of Kikatincannulong did report a sighting some time ago but we have to be careful of a bit of typical Aussie leg-pulling - don’t we!

Elves learned that you can’t be hunted if you leave no trace. Trolls aren’t as bright. We’re not who they’re hiding from.

Frank: You have absolutely made my day. I had an aunt who had a bunion and you have just revealed what was causing all that pain in her shoe.

    usfellers,

If I didn’t hold you in such high regard as such a reliable source on all things down under, I’d be a little suspicious of the location of the Yowie sighting.

Ottod: Yeah mate, we have a few strange towns that make non-Aussies wonder. We also have Jabringrog, Wykikamookow, Downatinnie and a few others.

All have the potential of reporting sightings of a Yowi or a Bunyip, especially after an evening around a campfire with a convivial glass or two or ….

DryCula: So glad you finally got on, it’s been a real hassle over the last few hours for all of us, site not available, dropping out, etc.

This Meggsie series just has to take the honours; and more is to come, the pace gets frightening.

    usfellers,

I just tried to walk down the hall and I kept running into the wall. Strangest thing but it’s almost as though one leg is suddenly longer than the other.
