Frank: Maybe Meggsie’s mates could join in on this thought. Drycula (aka Dry) came up with the name of ‘groaners’. They are not just puns; seems to me they sometimes represent a fleeting sideways look at a subject, and at others they give the opportunity to get one’s mind off a difficult subject and think of something light, the latter being true in my case. In any event, they leave readers burying their heads in their hands and repeating over and over, “Oh no!”
