Gee, you are a spoil-sport Dad. Ginger would have loved to grab Mike and go on an extended walk to see if the Council found him.
The bare fact in my local council is that while we must microchip our pets, the council has no means of tracing or reading the microchip.
All hell to pay if any resident so much as walks their mutt without a lead but the little earner of the microchip ends with the residents’ obligation to have it done for no reason.
