Ancient Greece was divided into a bunch of city states. The only time they came together as a somewhat unified country was when fighting the Persian invasion, but I don’t recall there being a capital of Greece as a whole. I’m fairly sure it was just an alliance between different city states like Athens, Sparta, Corinth ,etc.
