Sometimes I think we should be proud of our children’s ability to stand up to authority, argue a case like a lawyer, stand resolute behind their beliefs. All of it makes for a stronger individual. And a stronger generation of people. But… having been a parent… it would be so nice if the kids would listen to those who made the mistake of not listening to their parents.
