All that work to avoid to a good side dish. Michael, you need to learn to fight your battles. Take the carrots, add some brown sugar and a marshmallow – they are great.

Slice in 1/4" disks, brown in butter, cinnamon and then glaze with maple syrup. Nice side dish or add diced ham to the pan for a main. Mmmmm
