There’s a guy at work who has never heard of the Beatles. Fame fades, of course: even the most famous people in the world right now will eventually be a “Who?”
I was tutoring a guy a few years younger than me in reading. For some reason the Civil War came up. He had no idea what I was talking about. I said, “You know, the War between the States, North against the South.” No clue. So I gave him the benefit of the doubt as he did have a learning disability, and I guess he just didn’t remember reading about in class.

Pete, Roger, Keith, and John are a “Who” who will never be forgotten, at least by me.
