Went to London a number of years ago and made the obligatory visit to Harrods. Had to use the john while there. The suggested tip for the attendant was a one pound coin.
At a train station in London I discovered that there were turnstiles that took a coin (which I didn’t have) before you could enter the bathroom. All I could do was stare longingly at the toilet stalls on the other side.
