I miss Border’s Book store. It’s hard to even find a bookstore these days. We used to have a couple of used book stores here but they’re gone now too. :(
One of the big movie chains closed down permanently in the area during 2020. We were quite relieved that the $120 worth of gift certificates we got for Christmas the year before were for the other big movie chain. Once the kids are all in school we’ll be going back to our once a week movies.
i loved that book store. they had a program where you could books and then donate them to kids through different charities they had. i do that now at Christmas time with the stuffed animals and books that go with them from Kohls.
