We subscribe to Netflix, Hulu, HBO Max, Paramount +, Discovery Plus, and Peacock. There’s plenty to watch, and I like to surf occasionally to find some hidden gem of a show. There are plenty that lasted only one or two seasons, but turn out to be fun to watch.
To see most of the races 24 hours of Daytona, or 24 hours of Spa, or any of 24 hours of LeMans, you had to subscribe to 3 different stream services. If you kept the service for the rest of the year, each would cost around $100.

Cable tv works because of the packages. If they went to an ala carte situation they would find many networks and channels going out of business.
