They have those as an experiment, to see how many swear words you know, and can utter quietly.

when self checkout first came out there were problems, but now I can get a whole shopping cart thru as fast as a checker.

I will not use them. It takes away a job from someone else.

and ATM means you’re working for the banks for free?

I go to a store that provides enough local jobs to call another checker or 3 when the lines get more than about 3 long.

Those self check outs CAN be a royal PITA! That’s why even though there may not be a line at self checkout and the line at the human checkout is a mile long, I’ll spend the time and wait!

Save time? BS!

For those of you that won’t use self-checkout thank you. It makes it easier for me to find a vacant machine and get out quickly.

I resisted the self check for the longest time. Now I would never go through the staffed lanes. I like that my produce and meat doesn’t come out bruised and I don’t have to repack my bags to fit in my cart.

Hate those things!

I will stand in a line to get to a cashier. I don’t care how many directions there are, I hang those stupid self-check-out machines up every time!
