A fork in the road of a walking trail in a forest. A sign points to the right reading, "Bear Right." A bear hides behind a tree behind the sign in the direction that it points to.
I am reminded of my Uncle who was a North Carolina State Trooper…..he observed a gent coming onto the freeway screaming as loud as he could out the driver side window. Intrigued he stopped the gent to see what all that was about. The gent explained he was yelling RIGHT OF WAY.Why asked my Uncle. The gent replied “Because the sign said so……”YIELD Right of Way" so I was YELLING for the right of way.For me I am still looking heads in the road. The sign says Bump Ahead…..so where is the head so I can bump it?

When hiking I should bring the bear necessities?

When the bear runs off, will the sign automatically change to “bear left”?
