I remember my mother telling me to stay at the table until I’d eaten my cabbage….. I was still there at bed time.

Ah, back in the day…that was the approach my mother took….worked every time!

I absolutely HATE that reason. Haven’t slipped and used it on any kids either. Helps I have none of my own.

Strike first, strike hard, NO MERCY!

If I put on my plate, I had to eat it. If I didn’t it would be there the next meal. Breakfast follows Dinner, I’ll just leave it at that.
