I think there are a lot of places to fish in almost all places if you are after the experience of fishing, rather than the experience of catching something.

I have been to Philadelphia (where this comic strip takes place), but I don’t recall there being any good fishing spots. I was just a tourist then.

there is fishing. along the rivers and waterfront. some people say it’s even safe to eat the fish.

Apart from the two rivers, there’s the lovely Wissahickon Creek in Northwest Philadelphia. A lovely place to take a stroll and even go fishing!
