Dean: ...so now you're this old, used dance robot that's been tossed in the trash...and you decide to go on a journey to find a place where somebody still appreciates tap dancing androids! Dean: And you have this whole adventure with lots of dancing and you discover, in the end, that tap dancing only has to make you happy! Then your batteries die and you end up rusting in a scrap pile, with a big smile frozen on your face! What do you think? Heart: Well...it's not "black mirror" , but I think we can make it work. Dean: Adapting dystopian future stories into tap dance theatrics is harder than you think.

Charlie Brooker explained the series’ title to The Guardian: “If technology is a drug – and it does feel like a drug – then what, precisely, are the side effects? This area – between delight and discomfort – is where Black Mirror, my new drama series, is set. The ‘black mirror’ of the title is the one you’ll find on every wall, on every desk, in the palm of every hand: the cold, shiny screen of a TV, a monitor, a smartphone.”

So wordy. I haven’t had enough coffee and this storyline is boring the socks off of me!
