I think it’s sweet to see romance, love and (most importantly) friendship portrayed between married couples. We are too often handed a miserable vision of married life where devotion and care are left out of the equations.
Oh yea, and Grandma isn’t helping anything with her disrespect of Herb.
Herb is a really sweet guy. He’s responsible,kind,sane and loves his family. For the life of me, I can’t understand why she doesn’t like the man who treats her daughter like a queen. What mother wouldn’t want a son-in-law like that?
