Lemme guess… SHE does all HIS washing, cooking & clearing up, cleaning, bears his offspring and all that entails, etc. etc… if he had to pay her the going rate for all of that, he might find it hard to earn enough money! HIS money indeed!!! Poppycock!!
My point was, that a family life is a shared venture… and the wage earned by either partner is the FAMILY income… neither solely HIS nor HERS… as with all the other family responsibilities… your point seems to be to degrade and denegrate women in general, implying that they get a free ride… as if… !.Many a man with that same out-dated belief and attitude ends up losing his family… and still has to part with what he perceives to be HIS money… in child maintenance and/or alimony… and in some cases, it’s even the woman who has to pay the man alimony coz she earns more than him…
So what would you say raising Mel Gibson’s seven kids was worth then? Let’s not forget that the stork didn’t really drop by with them all tied up in a nice little bundle.
@ truecanadianliberalYou obviously didn’t bother to read further before running off at the mouth in your now removed comment calling me a "misandrist"… you know nothing of me or my values… a partnership is a partnership, and if one of the partners makes money whilst the other contributes in other ways, thats a shared income… perhaps you need to examine the type of person you are before judging and name-calling others that you don’t even know… seems to me you may just be projecting from the other side of that bias… and to answer your question, if Mel Gibson made those millions whilst in a partnership, then it was a shared income…
Well… obviously the judge who had all of the facts of the case, and reached an objective ruling didn’t agree with you… pesky thing those facts and objectivity eh? They do so get in the way of personal bias and ignorance…
