A happy ending for someone. YAY!

I didn’t expect something more after yesterday even.

Those chains look very becoming on you, Stedman. They are really you.

So, Clovis gets the last laugh. Maybe we’ll get the last laugh when Clovis trips over Robert the Plant and lands face down in what Rudolf left on the lawn.

Cross pollination. For once Robert experiences a happy ending.

Lucas! This is a family strip – no pollinating.

I guess you have to be a vegetable to get the happy ending…

Ah yes, Robert the Plant finally wins.

What?! No cigarette or ashtray on the table?

Roberta the Plant is now wondering if something is wrong. She has this strange sensation and dreams of little flowers.

Whoopsie! Is it time to go down to Garden Ridge and get some fresh Potting soil and little clay pots?

I figure that Robert and Roberta will be more than happy to care for the little ones. They might even name one of them Clovis.

What’s that I see in Roberta’s pot? Why, it looks like little stems starting to come up. Can’t imagine what they might be.

There are 7 little plants coming up. Roberta is thrilled. Robert is wondering if he can get a job to support all of them.

Kinda lonely out here, isn’t it…

Those 7 little plants are doing quite nicely, although it is getting a bit crowded in the pot. Robert the Plant has gone to another section of the house to get another pot. Clovis is asleep and Robert rolls a washing tub past him for his new family.

(tippy-tippy-tippy…) ’scuse me, just passing thru.

Clovis is asleep. You’ll have to be quiet. Robert the Plant has rolled the washing tub into where the new mommy and and the seven little plants. They still don’t have names.

Robert and Roberta are discussing what to name the seven little plants. Maybe one of them can be named Katina the Plant.

The seven little plants are really growing. Clovis is going to have a problem. Roberta has been reading and found that they are Clovis eaters.

Robert and Roberta are going to be good parents. They just finished watering their babies and put them in the sunlight. Darin is puzzled. He can’t seem to find the washtub.

The seven little plants are now hungry and have left the washtub. One day they will find the meal they have always wanted. Clovis is doomed.
