Easy Roy, remember you have no money or credit cards.

Now Roy has the angel wings and Charlene was the one with the demon horns at the start of the arc?

This started out as Roy trying to get back his credit cards, then a rescue mission for his wife, now he may wind up trading his wife just for the rhinestones! Well it’s Charlene’s own fault for leaving him without money. Too bad I’m sure she would have loved to help decorate Jolene…with a hatchet.

Like Lucy Westerna after Dracula comes to town… BTW, what’s the slogan under the Hubby Lobby sign in panel one? (Too small to read.)

Ohh, I thought Roy had said he would “be back with the girls”, as in if he got the rhinestones, he would be cool, and able to impress the ladies again. However after reading it again, it was Sam simply saying he would return with there wives. Almost disappointing the second time read… Still a great duel meaning. :)

No, no. That’ll make him a Rhinestone Cowboy. That’s country.

. . . didn’t we just wonder what Charlene was up to, by tricking and bringing Roy with her to this craft store? @BeaR’s plot is beginning to sparkle! lol! :D

But is Roy a rhinestone cowboy, or is he just LIKE a rhinestone cowboy?

Rhinestones are Roy’s kryptonite… and there’s an entire aisle filled with them.

Charlene may have to rescue him…

Okay, I’m going to be relentlessly honest here and admit I have no idea what’s going on. I have looked at these panels objectively and subjectively, right-side up and up-side down, at extreme low angles looking for anamorphic clues, through night-vision goggles and through the ruby crystal my neighbor swears will unlock any occult images from the Kabbala to Where’s Waldo, but nothing, nada, zip, bupkis. I am retiring to my cell with my blanky, where I will think dark thoughts until the morming.
