The last time Roy wanted to play when his wife left with the kids to visit her parents, https://www.gocomics.com/in-security/2017/08/28 – He then tries to kill himself, https://www.gocomics.com/in-security/2017/08/30 – and then he comes to bug Sam and Sedine, which is the same last frame except they are sitting differently, https://www.gocomics.com/in-security/2017/09/01
The easiest was to get rid of a pest is to fumigate it. When my 3 daughters were dating and their boyfriends came over I would walk into the living room with a shovel and sit down. They would quickly leave.
Memo to the great and marvelous creators— you might want to post the YouTube link in comments— as part of the artwork it does not link to the page/site.
Roy’s proven himself to be a true friend and he helped the happy couple escape from their controlling parents, so he gets extra chips for that. Now Sam and Sedine need to get him focused on his own family, so they can start their own, or is Roy acting as their personal Birth Control.
Love the anger squigglies in Panel 1, and you notice they radiate from the Moms-in-law, and Sam’s dad. Sedine’s dad seems to be a simple bloke, hand him some cake and he’s happy. Give him some tupperware with Turkey and stuffing and he’d be in heaven.
So I googled Dial H for Horror…got this tag… https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fprRojvVea0 but it was only a preview.

One flower pot. One kettle used as a flower pot. One is a metaphor for Roy. One is a metaphor for Sam.
And the pot is calling the kettle bleak.

Love how the Sam’s parents and Sedine’s mom are fuming. Serves them right? Sedine’s dad is like Sam – where is the cake!

Consequences? Reminds me of the John Wick movies: ruled by consequences.
