In case anyone doesn’t know, Nimrod, by rights, refers to the ancient king, mighty hunter and rival of Abraham, the man who led the building of the Tower of Babel. The modern usage dates back to Bugs Bunny, who called Elmer Fudd “Nimrod” as an ironical insult.
