Actually Mutant X just barely beats out Smallville by ten days. Don’t remember them having costumes on there. And you could always go back to The Incredible Hulk TV series. If you really wanted to do so, you could probably call Steve Austin and Jaime Sommers superheroes and they didn’t really wear costumes.

I have wondered about the aversion to superhero costumes in a number of movies. Considering that the comics have had these colorful costumes for more than 70 years and they continue to attract buyers, why drop them from movies?
