Lenny! Let go of the ball, Lenny!!
Lenny has been drafted to play football for the Philadelphia Eagles.
I think he being kidnapped for lunch, he the guest of honor.
@pouncingtiger: Good one! LOL
Where Lenny is going it’ll be a happier place.
“How is letting go of the ball gonna help me, you twit!!”
They don’t care about Lenny; just about continuing the game.
I love Pouncingtiger’s comment!
I bet that a rabbit playing basketball has a great jump and hang-time. From the look of the rim height, everyone can dunk.
“Tell me about the rabbits, George.” (Okay, so it was spelled Lennie in the book–but still, a rabbit named Lenny?)
They’re rabbits, so having a friend eaten must be a regular occurrence. Thus, proper protocol for a game would be that if you’re snatched away you leave the ball behind.
