Does anyone remember this story line?

Pay attention. The people who wanted revenge of Jill tied up the owner of the bar and the girl with the hat took her place and drugged Jill’s drink.

It’s been a few years since I read the books, but I remember some of this.

The “crime” story tends to be a bit harder to follow, but that’s natural with crime stories.

I think Jill is on the loose.
