For many, many, years a local restaurant owner closed his restaurant for several days before thanksgiving, and cooked meals for people in shelters. Many of his customers volunteered to help. He had several big reefer truck trailers out back that we kept the food in as we were prepping it, and a fleet of volunteer drivers to deliver the meals on thanksgiving morning. He finally had to retire and close the restaurant, but a lot of people surely miss Nick.

Won’t the mission be serving Thanksgiving dinner for the homeless? It’s not Marcy’s private dining hall.
