Kenny is certainly grateful. That’s good to see.

Now that Dana has married and adopted a child, perhaps she’ll begin to understand some of her mother’s decisions & actions, becoming less self-righteous in the process.

I like the adventures of Joe and Marcy but to be honest I have long since lost this thread.

I always thought joy was supposed to be “unconfined”? ;-)

HEY – What happened to the actual WEDDING?

I’m not sure the term “real dad” is appropriate here. Any man can donate sperm, but it takes more than that to be a real dad.

I admire Delray for doing his best to keep Shark in the picture. Delray understands the consequences of losing everything when you make mistakes in life.

Not every day you see a prisoner boasting over his son.

His dad allowed this to happen by being a criminal and going to prison for a long time. Kenny will always remember how his father left him. Lots of money will not make up for that.

While Kenny cannot be proud of the mistakes Sharcane made, he now understands that Sharcane gave him the opportunity to have a stable home and family. It meant transferring from Sunny’s school, but at least they can still visit each other.

Perhaps that letter will motivate Sharcane to behave himself and think of his actions. Who knows? Maybe Sharcane will eventually become another prison success story, just like Delray.
