We listened to a thing called “radio”, and we only had an a.m. band. We were able to exercise our imaginations with dramas by imagining the settings and what the people looked like. It was fun. And no one’s ever been funnier than Jack Benny, George Burns &Gracie Allen as well as Fred Allen. And many others. We were one nation, however imperfect.

Odd how this shows up the day after “American Dad” had that gag about throwing a slice of ham at the wall and watching it walk down.

In my opinion, that’s a better use for liver than eating it.
