For someone who complains about me wanting to have the last word on something, indie, you sure are doing a bang-up job of trying for it yourself. Carrying over your arguments about your slur-tastic post from a couple days ago for not one, but two straight days, even when the strip you’re currently posting to has nothing to do with that. Seems pretty clear to me that you’re struggling to have the last word yourself. Which is why one of the many titles you’ve earned for yourself is the Great Projectionist.
And rather than actually engage with any of the substantive points that anyone poses to you, you hide behind your rage at Lalo and at your new best friend here, me. No, rather than actually engage, you simply paint those who disagree with you as trying to shut you down. But nobody here has ever told you not to post; I and others have just picked apart the thin arguments you’ve come up with. In other words, we’ve responded to you.
And what’s with “And you are omniscient. And you are the only one qualified to answer me…?” Night-Gaunt does a bang-up job of responding to you. As do others. And since none of us has pretended “omniscience,” all I can assume is that you’re sinking deeper into some sort of persecution complex. That really can’t be good for your mental health.
As to not responding to my “taunts,” well, there’s two things. Point #1: Your whole reason for being on this site seems to be to demand that Lalo respond to your taunts. (Well, that and complaining about me.) Or would you simply say they’re questions? Which brings me to Point #2: I have, over and over, asked perfectly reasonable questions meant to start an actual dialogue, and these are precisely the parts of my posts that you’ve most ignored. It’s like you don’t actually want to have any sort of dialogue. Fair enough. Just don’t expect folks to keep handing you flowers when all you do is slash at their hands with a rusty knife.
This forum is called “COMMENTS.”Not “Discussions.”
Okay, so I’m just commenting on your intellectual ineptitude and general cussedness. Why complain about me making a comment? Why respond to it? Isn’t that discussion? (By the way, the Oxford American Writer’s Thesaurus lists “comment” and “discussion” as synonyms.)
" Don’t start touting others “pathology” when your own is on display."You mean like yours just now?
If there’s one person on this forum who would not be described as pathological, it would be @Night-Gaunt. Your own manic obsessiveness with Lalo and with anyone who disagrees with you, however, much more fits the bill.
As so many of you pound into me, “so don’t watch Fox.”Especially you, Lalo.
Um, that’s your response to this strip? I agree with Night-Gaunt: unless you want your brain to further turn to mush, you won’t watch only Fox. In fact, it’ll be a tiny minority of where you get your news from. Especially considering that Fox News viewers are “even less informed than those who say they don’t watch any news at all.” (Links to Forbes article.)
But hey, don’t mind me, I’m just exercising plain ol’ free speech criticism of consistently poor comments.
Don’t only watch Fox..This, but it’s true of ALL the news channels. When I was a kid we got the raw feeds over the sattalite dish, the ones where they brocast without commercials. Because of locals news statins some times going first or second (or even third) the alphabet group played their main show twice, so we could watch 2 different networks every night. Toss in East vs. West feeds for time zones and we could hit all 3 plus the BBC or NBC (Canada) if something major was happening..My parents pointed out how each network would spin the exact same story, some times by just changing a word or two. “UN troops” vs. “US-led troops” or “President X’s office announced” vs. “the X Administration said” for instance. It was very enlightening.. O/c back then it might have just been more subtle, I avoid the TV news now thanks to all the sensionalism, at least on the net I can switch stories when the blatent slanting becomes too much.
